Job Summary:
The Decorator at Mighty Power Facilities Management is responsible for transforming event spaces to meet client specifications. This role involves designing and setting up décor, including floral arrangements, lighting, and themed decorations, ensuring a high standard of aesthetic appeal in all event projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and plan event décor according to client specifications and themes.
• Set up and arrange decorations, including floral arrangements, lighting, and props, to create visually appealing event spaces.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on decoration options.
• Source and manage inventory of décor materials and supplies.
• Ensure all decorations are installed safely and securely.
• Maintain and organise decoration materials, ensuring they are in good condition.
• Coordinate with other event staff to ensure seamless setup and takedown of decorations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in event decoration.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Work within budget constraints to deliver high-quality decoration solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an event decorator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of event decorating techniques, materials, and tools.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Creative flair and a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions and specifications.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Relevant certifications or training in event decoration preferred.
