Job Summary:
The Event Manager at Mightypower Facilities Management is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that meet client expectations. This role involves overseeing all aspects of event logistics, from concept to completion, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for all attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and manage events, including corporate events, conferences, and private functions.
- Liaise with clients to understand their vision, budget, and requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, caterers, decorators, and other event partners.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage event timelines, schedules, and budgets to ensure all aspects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Handle any unexpected issues or changes during the event and resolve them quickly.
- Ensure all events comply with safety and legal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the event to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an event manager or in a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in event planning software and basic knowledge of budgeting and cost management.
