Job Summary:
The Security Officer at Mightypower Facilities Management is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people and property at client locations. This role involves monitoring premises, patrolling areas, and responding to any incidents or threats to maintain a safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol client premises regularly to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor security cameras and alarms, and respond to any suspicious activity or incidents.
- Check credentials of people entering secured areas, and control access points.
- Report any irregularities, emergencies, or safety hazards to the relevant authorities.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and first aid.
- Write detailed reports on any incidents, security breaches, or patrols.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while ensuring a secure environment.
- Follow company protocols and legal regulations for security and safety.
Requirements:
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence.
- Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic first aid certification is a plus.
